I have the dub and the sub versions, and to obtain life easier, I’ll divide the parts into kindly, dreadful, and the treats:
The BAD: The scream for Diana( Luna and Artemis’s feline daughter ) does NOT match at ALL! It sounded like a grown woman with a nasal spot. They should have honest asked a puny kid to do the deny. Also, another thing that might disappoint the hard-core Moon fan is that there’s no special footage in the video when they prove Sailor Moon’s attack( “Moon Resplendent Meditation” ) ; they unbiased present her do a team with Rini’s attack into the Dream Hole with no special shots. Another thing is that you don’t score to gape the transformations of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Oh well…
The GOOD:(There’s lots) The graphics are spectacular! If the graphics and animation on the R and S movies were 5-6 on a scale of 1 to 10, this movie’s animation would collect 11! You can actually contemplate advantageous art details of the attacks, the backgrounds, and the characters! Very nice! Also, we find a seek of the dub’s version of the novel Sailor powers: the crystal transformations of the Inner Sailor Scouts, the attacks(”Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!”, “Mars Flame Sniper!”, “Jupiter Oak Evolution!”, “Venus Esteem and Beauty Shock!”), and the planet treasures of Uranus and Neptune( “Situation Sword Blaster!”, “Submarine Reflection!”) . Also, we net to sight Diana, Luna and Artemis’s daughter. As an extra bonus, the voicers of the enemies and Perulu(the fairy that befriends Rini) are astronomical and are really believable. No jam there. Oh yeah, and during a battle sequence, when Sailor Moon is trapped in a dream world, and she meets with Darien, the background plays the song “Nothing At All” which ACTUALLY fits the mood! Helpful choice for the movie!

The TREATS: First, the correct( for you parents out there ) : the honest in the video is that the kids are being kidnapped because the enemy wants to sustain them in a dream world forever where they’ll never experience wound and never face reality. But in the video, Sailor Moon realizes that it’s better to face the trusty world because no fantasy world can provide worship and friends. Plus, it’s not always awful to face a awful day in life because you have friends and family to back you deal with it. After all, some things are too sterling to be good, and you can’t seek through life thinking that device. Nice, if not preachy, suitable. Also, the status of the dub follows the dwelling of the sub, MORE or LESS, so I don’t want to hear any complaints about the dub not following the sub! Also, I got ragged to the voices of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, REALLY!( Trust me, if you watched the Sailor Moon S series on Cartoon Network at 4:00 P.M., you’ll find frail to the voices and consider that they fit too ) . So overall, the voices of the characters did comely well, except Diana.
So is it worth buying? Yes, in a nutshell, because there’s hardly any abominable parts or nudity( reflect a plastic Barbie doll engulfed in light ), all the voices in the dub are the same ones from the past, there’s some humor, the dub left most things in, and this is the only time you can contemplate the English version of the Elegant attcks, transformations, and more of Mini Moon( surprisingly, I’m actually outmoded to that name too, thanks to the Cartoon Network’s showings! ) . Plus, it has a nice station, so I’d doubt you’d derive bored brainless from watching this video.
As the third consecutive Sailor Moon film, SailorMoon:SuperS features an absolutely ravishing musical get, and is without a doubt the most beautifully attractive SM adventure yet! It’s certain the studio keep a lot of money into this production. It also has an incredibly charming opening credit sequence that is probably the cutest section of the entire film series!
The fairly straightforward situation introduces the scandalous Lady Vadiane, a giant magical being who sends her 3 Fairy minions to Earth to occupy children. She plans to employ their ‘Sugar Energy’ to power a giant shadowy hole with which to contain the entire Earth! After Chibi-Usa (Rini) is captured in one of the raids, it’s up to the Sailor Team to rescue her and put the world yet again.

Some familiarity with the current series might be splendid before watching since the girls all have current attacks, and unusual Senshi and a unique feline character have been added to the cast. It’s not absolutely significant though.
There is some implied nudity in the develop of drawn outlines of the girls bodies in rainbow colored energy forms. But parents would probably be hard-pressed to secure this one scene offensive for younger viewers.
In fact, it’s probably younger fans who’ll net more out of this one, with it’s intelligent attacks, cute production designs, and nonstop action. For more weak SM lovers; aside from the usual great bonds between the girls, some fun moments with Usagi(Serina) and her long-suffering boyfriend Mamoru(Darien) and the usual comedic bickering between Chibi-Usa and Usagi, there isn’t a whole lot here. Profitable heros need satisfactory enemies and in this case, Vadiane objective doesn’t slit it. She’s a very great being, but an extremely one-dimensional one. There’s no explaination of exactly WHY she wants to demolish the Earth, other than fair being spoiled. This really hurts the films sense of drama, as the wicked Queen unbiased becomes another straw figure to be easily knocked over by Usagi and friends. It’s such a pity that an otherwise stunning production has to descend down in this one respect. I know it can be difficult to creat an involving character with less than an hour of screentime to work with, but surely a few throwaway lines couldn’t have damage.
All in all though it’s a salubrious adventure to add to your Sailor Moon collection, but definately seize the R and S movies first.
